Needs Assessment

1. To identify major health care issues affecting the community, and identify mechanisms for education and prevention of community health concerns.

 

2. To gain insight in the future of cardiac care, new technological advances and pharmaceutical therapies aimed at treating acute coronary syndromes.

 

3. To explore the issues surrounding a mass environmental catastrophe and its impact on the provision of health services to destroyed communities.

 

4. To identify the shortcomings of community preparedness in the delivery of health care to victims of terrorism.

 

5. To explore the history of world wide terrorism, identify keep operative groups, their targets, and the means of attack.

 

6. To gain insight into injury patters, and psychological trauma in victims of terrorism.

 

7. To gain a better understanding of Methicillin Resistant Staph. Aureus in the community setting, its pathogenesis, and its treatment.

 

8. To learn about the management of the difficult airway, and to gain a better understanding of the anatomy of the respiratory tract
